The first animation assignment I had ever received was to transform one object into another. I don’t quite remember the number of frames or the frame rate, and but I do remember the preparation I did before I drew. Granted I have flaws in this piece, but I timed everything out using notebook paper. Later on down the line I discovered what I had done was create something very similar to an x-sheet. To this day I definitely like using x-sheets before animating, but rarely do I get the chance to really think about animations that way anymore. But when I do, it makes me so much more confident in the production.

My spring semester final film, at long last!!! It’s quite short, but still much grander than anything else I’ve ever completed and I’m very, very proud of it… so thank you for watching!
